Some backyards just need a complete reset. No halfway measures, no patching things together - a full build from the ground up. That's exactly what this one called for, and we were ready for it.
We started digging on Monday. By Friday, this space was ready to use. A large paver patio with a circular design element at the center, fresh sod laid out clean to the edges, and a stone seating area with a fire pit tucked off to the side. Each piece of this build feeds into the next, and that's not an accident - it's how we plan these things from the start.
The paver patio itself is the anchor of the whole yard. We used a running bond pattern in the main field with a contrasting darker border that traces the circular inset - it gives the whole surface a finished, intentional look. Under a pergola like the one already on site, a patio like this becomes a full outdoor room. Add the fire pit seating area nearby and you've got two distinct zones in one backyard.
Fresh sod ties it all together. It fills in the open areas, gives the space defined edges, and makes everything feel complete rather than halfway done. It's one of those finishing moves that makes a big difference in how the yard reads as a whole.
Fast turnaround doesn't mean cutting corners. It means having a crew that knows what they're doing and a process that's been dialed in over a lot of jobs. This is what we do - build outdoor spaces that actually get used.
